Kimberley Aviation commenced operations in 2009. Chief Pilot, Andrew Grace has been flying throughout the Kimberley for the past 4 years and obtained his pilot's licence in 1995. Andrew’s father, Ormond, who was a senior Check and Training Officer of Territory Airlines, and was one of the first airline pilots with Air Niugini, passed on his interest in aviation to Andrew and his family. Ormond conducted Andrew’s early flight training, as he holds a flight instructor’s licence.

Andrew's wife Sadie and four children are also involved in the business. Sadie manages the day-to-day operations including public relations, marketing and bookings. Elder son Fred, although still at school, has commenced flight training and plans to join the business as a commercial pilot once formal training is complete. The other three children, Annabelle, Paddy and Lulu all help out whenever they can. It's a family business which they all love being involved in and they wouldn't have it any other way.
