Hardy Aviation commenced operations in October 1981, mainly to provide
services for the Murin Association of Port Keats. With John Hardy as Chief Pilot
and Marie Hardy as CEO, Hardy Aviation have accumulated 20 years of Northern
Territory flying experience. Their fleet has increased from 2 aircraft in
1981 to 20 aircraft today. Hardy Aviation today employ around 60 people and
continue to grow.
Hardy Aviation prides itself upon its close linkages with Territory communities
and responding to emerging needs. The Company's fleet of well-maintained aircraft
are crewed by highly professional pilots who know the Territory and its unique
flying conditions.
Services
Hardy Aviation charter flights are mainly performed for the N.T. Governmnet,
Mining Industry, Oil and Gas Industry, and Tourism.
Murin Travel and Freight: Hardy Aviation operate regular flights to Port Keats,
mail flights to Peppimenarti and Palumpa for the Murin Association.
Fly Tiwi: Hardy Aviation now operate regular flights to the Tiwi Islands,
Croker Island and Golburn Island as "Fly Tiwi". Further information about

Engineering
Hardy Aviation have an in house maintenance facility including engine changes,
all line maintenance and inspections, piston engine rebuilds, some component
overhaul, major long life inspections and rectifications, parts store and
paint repairs.
Safety
Hardy Aviation is safety proactive from the head office to the hangar floor.
Hazards and emerging risks are examined and made safe. All staff are instructed
to be careful, observant, and are willing to pass on information that can help
avoid injury or damage to aircraft.
