Formerly Tenix Aviation, TAE Aviation specialises in servicing the regional,
general aviation and agricultural markets. TAE Aviation operates from three
sites, Adelaide and Parafield Airports in South Australia and Darwin in the
Northern Territory.

Turbine Engine MRO
TAE Aviation undertakes repair, Hot Section Inspection (HSI) and overhaul servicing
for both the Honeywell TPE331 and the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A engines. Maintenance
on these engines is undertaken at TAE Aviation's Adelaide Airport facility which is a
Honeywell authorised service centre for the TPE331 and a FAA approved repair station
for both engines.
The facility houses the only dynamometer test cell in the Australasian region currently
capable of testing both of these engines. TAE Aviation also has a large rental pool of
both the TPE331 and PT6A engines, positioned to meet customer requirements. TAE Aviation
also offers a fly-away service and 24 hour technical support.
A majority of part repairs and reclamations, in addition to component maintenance for both
the Honeywell TPE331 and Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A, is undertaken within theTAE group.
Complementing the turbine MRO facility is the turbine fuel nozzle maintenance facility
that has capability for the TPE331 and PT6A nozzles, this is also a FAA approved activity.

Avionics MRO
TAE Aviation provides avionic system installation services as part of the Adelaide
Airport aircraft MRO capability. The avionic workshop also located at Adelaide
Airport provides extensive repair and overhaul capability for pitot/static and
gyroscopic instrumentation, engine instrument control and indication systems, flight
management and indication system components, auto pilot control and management equipment,
radio navigation and communication equipment, emergency equipment as well as
battery maintenance for commercial and military operators.
TAE Aviation's Darwin facility provides aircraft line avionics support. The Avionics
workshop is a FAA certified repair station for Single Red Line (SRL) Computers for
various aircraft and Electronic Engine Computers (EEC) for the Cessna 441 Conquest.
TAE Aviation is a large stockist of avionic inventory and is an authorised distributor
of Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, S-Tec, Sandel and Garmin equipment.

Aircraft MRO & Aircraft Component MRO
Supporting regional and general aviation customers, TAE Aviation provides a
complete range of light and heavy maintenance and modification solutions for
aircraft, as well as mechanical and hydraulic components including a fly-away
service and 24 hour technical support.
TAE Aviation has also developed a life extension modification program for the
Cessna 441 Conquest that shall be certified under a STC, allowing the
aircraft to fly beyond its current limit of 22,500 hours.
TAE Aviation's Parafield Airport facility houses a McCauley approved Propeller
MRO operation. Complementing this service, TAE Aviation's Darwin team provides a complete
strip and freight service to the South Australian facility. TAE Aviation's propeller
operation is conducted in conjunction with Safe Air Limited. TAE Aviation also
has an extensive propeller loan service to meet customer requirements.
TAE Aviation is a large stockist of airframe inventory and is an authorised distributor of M7
products for Metro aircraft and an authorised distributor of Honeywell Traslock Third Line
Of Defence (TLOD) products for the Airbus A300/310 series aircraft.
