TAE

    Formed in 2000, the TAE business is the founding operation of the TAE group and operates from RAAF Base Amberley and Brisbane Airport in Queensland and RAAF Base Williamtown in New South Wales.



    • Turbine Engine MRO

      TAE operates Australia's leading military turbine engine Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) business. This is fully supported by a comprehensive in-house engineering, repair and manufacturing capability, which is second to none in the Australasian region, allowing over 95% of all turbine engine repairs to be completed on site.

      TAE is the total logistics support manager for the Royal Australian Air Force's (RAAF's) fleet of General Electric F404 engines, fitted to its F/A-18A/B Hornet aircraft, as well as the General Electric F414 engine, fitted to the RAAF's F/A-18F Super Hornet. TAE is also the through life support manager for the Pratt and Whitney TF-30 engine that powers the RAAF's F-111 aircraft.



    • Aerospace Manufacturing

      TAE has a strong reputation as a specialist aerospace manufacturer, offering small to medium manufacturing runs, specialising in aluminium vacuum brazing, precision machining and specialist processes (including electroplating, automated shot peening, heat treatment, robotic plasma spraying and aviation welding). With complete in-house capability, TAE has your entire project covered.



    • Aircraft Wheels MRO

      TAE's Brisbane Airport team offers proven experience in providing aircraft wheel and cabin equipment maintenance for airline operators.



    • Asset Management

      Supporting the aviation, power generation, resource and energy markets, TAE's Engineering Asset Management Service (TEAMS) provides an integrated asset management capability based on the same principles and techniques utilised successfully for aviation assets.

    • TAE has proven that intelligent application of reliability, availability and maintainability principles, coupled with state of the art condition monitoring techniques, can deliver asset performance improvements measurable in real dollar savings, increased system availability and increased asset safety.
